THE INDUSTRY-LEADING LOCKING MECHANISM

Don't settle for generic, low-quality alternatives.
Available with premium brand SPC hybrid and engineered timber flooring.

Floor installation should be a fast and simple process with perfect results every time. That means no gaps between the boards, no unevenness and no squeaking sounds. Equally important, the floor should remain perfect for the lifetime of the floor.

5G locking systems are the industry standard for installing floors. The long sides of the floor panels are locked with a traditional angling method and 5G or 5G-i is used for easy and fast installation by vertical snap without the need of any tools. Installation time is reduced dramatically to almost half when compared to other solutions.

AS FAST AS IT GETS

No gluing or nailing is required. All you need to install the floor panels is one person, one pair of hands and a single movement. With 5G ® you can significantly reduce installation time, no matter if you are a professional or DIY.

UP FOR THE CHALLENGE

When subject to high vertical load, poorly designed locking systems might result in height differences, gap openings or they might even break. We put our locking systems through comprehensive testing to ensure that our licensees’ products last even under the toughest conditions.

SPC HYBRID WITH 5G FOLD DOWN TECHNOLOGY

5G® is the Välinge brand for the globally recognized fold down installation system used by more than 100 floor producers around the world. With 5G, it is easier than ever to install a floor. The system is based on a single action installation method suitable for all types and widths of floor products.

SPC HYBRID WITH 5Gi PUSH DOWN TECHNOLOGY

5G-i is the brand for our one-piece installation systems with the locking element integrated in the core. As a panel is folded down, a locking strip has been designed to smoothly bend due to each panel’s guiding surfaces. When the guiding surfaces have passed each other, the locking strip flexes back and thereby pulls down the folded panel into a perfectly aligned and locked position.

DISCOVER THE DIFFERENCE

One way of telling the difference between locking systems is to measure their horizontal strengths. Laboratory tests show that Välinge locking systems outperform alternative solutions on the market.
